Located near Middleburg, Virginia, Ralph and Jean Ann Feneis' "herb and horse" farm is the setting for their 1790's farmhouse and kitchen garden with flowers and herbs situated around the house, cottage and well house. It is from these gardens that Jean Ann takes herbs and blossoms to include in many of her fine herbal soaps. Jean Ann and her soapmakers hand stir soap at least three days a week, then cure the soap for almost a month before bringing the soap, fresh and scented, to market. They have over 80 varieties, with Jean Ann designing new recipes every month. Ralph helps with the unmolding and selling at market, when he's not at his full time job. Including leased land, Mount Harmony Farm is 14 acres of lovely pastures and small garden plots located in gently rolling hills near neighboring horse farms.
